Vegas247 Transfers Ownership Over To Absolute Poker

Earlier this week affiliates were notified that Absolute Poker had acquired Vegas247 Poker and were in the process of merging the two companies. Absolute sent out a press release stating that the acquisition was to be complete within a few days and they would begin to merge player’s accounts and funds over to the company.

The transfer of player’s accounts is expected to be seamless and since Vegas247 is a skin of Absolute Poker the transfer should go through without any problems and be complete within by Wednesday.

Neither company have released why the merge is taking place.

Players who have existing accounts with Absolute Poker will have the option to keep that account and have their funds transferred over or they can choose to keep the Vegas247 account.

Absolute Poker did say they would continue to provide the same services that customers have been using at Vegas247 including tournaments with the only difference being they would now be under the AP brand.

During their press release, Joe Norton, said Joe Norton, owner of Towkiro Enterprises ENRG, which holds a 100% interest in Absolute Poker, told the media “Today’s online gaming community demands and expects a transformative gaming experience that seamlessly integrates superior technology, responsiveness to customer needs, and a safe and secure environment in which to play. Absolute Poker and Vegas Poker 247 are at the center of this trend, and this acquisition will build on our combined heritage to redefine the online gaming experience.”

Absolute Poker is still one of the top rooms in online poker and continues to provide services to US players. They are known for their high bonuses and easy clearance rates.
