Strictly speaking, "Bodog rakeback" doesn't exist. We spoke with our contact at BodogLife, and they asked us to make that information very clear at the beginning of this page. We have now done so.

Bodog Poker does offer players cash back into their player accounts, even though they don't call it rakeback.

Bodog Poker makes its money the same way other online cardrooms do: by taking a percentage of each pot. (This is called the "rake".) When you play in real money poker games and/or tournaments at Bodog, you contribute to the rake.

You also earn frequent player points (or comp points). This new plan isn't a "Bodog rakeback" plan, but you can receive a percentage of what you contributed to the rake back at the end of the month by cashing in these comp points.

The maximum amount of money that you can receive each month is $2500, but if you play a lot of poker, this can significantly change your ROI on your poker investment.

Bodog Rake Rebates

Strictly speaking, Bodog's program isn't really "rakeback" as it's usually defined. ("Rakeback" describes a situation where a player signs up through an affiliate webmaster who's getting a percentage of the player's rake as his advertising fee. The affiliate webmaster then gives back a percentage of his percentage to the player.) Bodog is actually offer a "rake rebate", but it's not offered through a third party site. It's offered directly via Bodog.

It's obvious why getting rake rebates directly from Bodog poker is a far better situation than going through some kind of third party rakeback provider. It's entirely possible that a third party rakeback provider could just disappear one day, which would void by default any arrangement you had with that person.
